Because I'm a huge video game freak, allow me to break the vintage theme for some of the non-vintage video games. This really includes anything from 1990 on. Even though early 80's doesn't technically define the vintage era, the early 80's is the time when Atari, Intellivision, and Coleco all released consoles, so it's as vintage as console video games get.

Since the 1990's the Star Wars franchise has seen tons of games in all kinds of genres:

• Traditional action/adventure video games (All of the movie title games)
• Role playing video games (Knights of the Old Republic)
• First and third-person shooters (Dark Forces, Jedi Outcast, Battlefront)
• Flight simulators (like StarFighter and Jedi StarFighter)
• Strategy games (Empire at War)
• Multiplayer online games (the Star Wars Galaxies series for Windows)

Though not a genre, there were also several Star Wars Lego games released beginning in 2005 for the newer game consoles like Xbox, PS3, and Gamecube.
