Star Wars Rebel Pilots: Keir Santage

While most of this blog focuses on vintage Star Wars toys, we do cover newer and novelty toys as well. One category of game that has seen a lot of innovation is the game of chess. There are plenty of new and old (not so much vintage) Star Wars chess games available out there.

The rebel pilots were given the daunting task of destroying the Empire's Death Star, the Galactic Empire's "ultimate weapon," designed as both a space station and a super weapon, capable of destroying an entire planet in one attack.

At climactic battle in Star Wars (Episode IV), Luke Skywalker and the rebel pilots are able to penetrate the Death Star's defenses and destroy it (the first Death Star).

Keir Santage is the veteran of the rebel flight squad and was once rescued from Imperial captivity by Wedge Antilles.
