Star Wars Rebel Pilots: Dak Ralter

Rounding out some of the coolest motion picture vehicles of all time are the Star Wars ATAT walkers and the Star Wars Snowspeeders. You'll notice the AT-AT's featured on the home page.

The rebel pilots were given the daunting task of destroying the Empire's Death Star, the Galactic Empire's "ultimate weapon," designed as both a space station and a super weapon, capable of destroying an entire planet in one attack.

At climactic battle in Star Wars (Episode IV), Luke Skywalker and the rebel pilots are able to penetrate the Death Star's defenses and destroy it (the first Death Star).

Dak Ralter is one of the younger rebel pilots, hailing from Kalist VI. Dak was Luke's tailgunner at the Battle of Hoth.
