Star Wars Vintage Anakin Skywalker

Anakin Skywalker came from humble origins. He spent the first years of his life on Tatooine as a slave along with his mother. Skywalker later met a Jedi by the name of Qui-Gon Jinn. After obtaining his freedom, Jinn took Skywalker and departed from Tatooine, though they had to leave Shmi Skywalker behind, something her son always resented. Skywalker took part in the Battle of Naboo, destroying the Droid Control Station despite his young age. Soon after, he joined the Jedi Order, becoming a Padawan to Obi-Wan Kenobi. Skywalker was believed to be the Chosen One of Jedi prophecy, one who would bring balance to The Force by destroying the Sith, which was why the Jedi Council chose to bend the Jedi Code and permit his training.

Star Wars Vintage Darth Vader

Darth Vader is the product of a Jedi consumed with anger and jealousy. Having lost much his body and almost his life in a battle, Vader is unable to keep himself alive without the life support of his suit, which regulates his temperature, internal organs, and assists with breathing.

Vader quickly rose through the ranks of the Empire and amassed much power and knowledge of the dark side during his rise to the top. Vader and the Emperor plotted to lure Luke Skywalker to the dark side during one of the movies pivotal scenes.

Star Wars Vintage Yoda

Yoda is a bit of a mystery. He is a common character, appearing in every Star Wars film except the first theatrical release (episode IV). Yoda is one of the most respected Jedi, holding a seat on the Jedi high council before the Empire.

Over 900 years old, Yoda has trained many notable Jedi, including Count Dooku, Mace Windu, Obi-Wan Kenobi (before Qui-Gon Jinn takes over as Obi-Wan's master), Ki-Adi-Mundi, Kit Fisto, and Luke Skywalker. Prior to being assigned to a master, all young Jedi candidates are first trained by Yoda.

Star Wars Vintage Obi-Wan Kenobi

Ben Kenobi was the mentor to the Jedi who would eventually turn into Darth Vader. A powerful Jedi, Kenobi retreats to the planet Tatooine and lives a hermit lifestyle, watching over Luke Skywalker until the time is right to explain to him who he is. Inhabitants of Tatooine have no idea he is a Jedi knight; instead, they think of him as a crazy wizard.

Vintage Luke Skywalker
